Synopsis
There is a secret world organisation that takes care of the secret things in the dark. There is a department in this division called the Antimemetics Division and they take care of the ideas/monsters that work on making themselves or other people forget things.
It's very difficult to work against monsters whose ability is to make people forget they exist. The members of the division are very good at establishing missing links, the lacks in memories to find that things happened and what happened.
There is though a monster bigger than everything, there is actually a memory war going on, and people forget about it. It's a monster so big that it kills anyone who only knows about it.

My take
It was a very good horror, and it was a great way to work around this power of making people forget - working on memory.
It was entertaining and well written for the type of book. I'm not sure I got something out of it except high entertainment.
