Infomocracy

We're a century in the future and there's a new form of politics: centennals. They are agglomeration of 100.000 people who get to vote on their government. The elections are organised by "Information" which is also the tool to get live info about almost anything. Kind of a wikipedia for AR. 
It's been 20 years since this type of government exists - and there is a super majority government and there are elections now - and for the system to survives, it kinda needs to have a new super majority and a smooth transition. 

Interesting, and a few months afterwards, made me realise that this new social organisation is very similar to the "Hives" of terra ignota by Ada Palmer
